Transferring from Live Service to Digital (Full) Service
  • Live service UC claimants have to set up a digital account to transfer to Full service - it is almost like starting the claim process all over again - for example the landlord has to re-verify the rent; and any APA Managed Payment in place has to be applied for again. However they will keep the same Monthly Assessment Periods.

  • Claimants will be contacted by phone or letter, by a specialist "transfer team", and are given 2 weeks to get their digital account sorted - including the ID interview. Information from a Freedom of Information Request revealed that although the award will be suspended if the claimant hasn't set up the account in 2 weeks, they will be given up to 32 days before it is completely closed.
